Things to Consider While Planning a
"Well-Thought-Out" Event:
-
Cost: How much is this event going to cost? If it applies, how much money do you expect to earn? If you are selling something, is it affordable for everyone?
-
Location/Space: Where is this event going to be held? How many people do you expect are going to come? Do you have enough space? Is this a good location for everyone?
-
Time: What is the start time and end time? Is this event overlapping with another event going on? Will this be a convenient time for people to come? Will this fit into your schedule? What is the set up and clean up time?
-
Publicity: How are you going to get the message out that your event is happening? How far in advance will have you to advertise this? What would make people come to your event?
-
Human Resources/Materials: How many people are required to make sure this event runs smoothly? What materials or resources are needed to make your event successful? Are these materials available to you?
-
Approval: Besides Mr. Sweeney, who else do you have to get approval from? If you are helping out an organization, do you have a contact person to communicate your ideas? If you are borrowing space to hold an event, who do you need to ask?
